SUDBURY, Ont. – The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) announced Tuesday the game schedule for its upcoming semifinal series between the Hearst Lumberjacks and Timmins Rock.
Action in the best-of-seven affair begins Friday in a 7:30 p.m. start at the Claude Larose Recreation Centre.
Hearst will likewise host Game 2, which goes Saturday, also at 7:30 p.m.
From there, the series shifts to McIntyre Arena, with the Rock having home ice for the third and fourth contests, that go Monday, April 7 and Tuesday, April 8.
Both of those meetings begin at 7 p.m.
If needed, Game 5 is slated for Friday, April 11 that will feature a 7 p.m. face-off at Claude Larose R.C.
Should a sixth contest be required, it will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 14 in Timmins.
A Game 7, if necessary, will go Tuesday, April 15 in Hearst at 7 p.m.
The winner will take on either the Greater Sudbury Cubs or Soo Thunderbirds for the Copeland Cup – McNamara Trophy NOJHL championship.
